I've been waiting on a new processor for two weeks now and figured that when I got it, updating my BIOS wouldn't be that difficult.
My MB is an Asus M2n-sli Deluxe and Asus' site lets me download the latest bios, but other than a version number, there's no further instructions. So the file is a .bat file, which I burned to disk and tried to boot off of, but to no avail.
I've been searching for the last two hours, but can't find anything on how to do this. I just have the file sitting there on my desktop, with no knowledge of how to run it.
There was a flash utility program also available, which I downloaded and it didn't seem to do anything.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
(I'm trying to update to BIOS version 5001)
Thanks,
Mike
