Hey everyone. A couple of days ago my computer needed to be formatted due to viruses and now iam without windows but i still have the windows 7 disk. BUT its got no more activation uses on it, is there anything i can do to put windows back on?

Any help would be appreciated thank you.

Dial the 1-800 number and there is a menu prompt fairly straight forward that will allow you to activate the new install.

You should be able to install the OS again, but there will be a prompt when you attempt activate online, simply call the number listed. You'll have to enter a new product key but then you should be good to go.

Done this myself with an OEM student version "single use" copy of WinXP and it totally works. Even used that same "single use" copy of XP to reinstall after swapping out the motherboard and CPU.
