Hello,

I got tired of Dell's proprietary mother boards and decided to take the plunge and build myself a PC. I do not intend to over clock nor am I a game player, just a retiree enjoying a hobby. I bought an Antec case (NSK 6582B) which came with a 430W PSU. However the 430W may not be enough so I added a 750W PSU to my list. I would like to keep the PC reasonably cool, quiet, simple and problem free. My grandchildren may want to play games when they visit which I hope happens often. I have no budget.

I would like to know if my selections are compatible and what I might need to complete the package. I have hard drives and a monitor (Dell 2007WFP).

Although the above list is from Newegg, I will probably purchase some of the items from Amazon.

Thank you,
Thord

You may want to wait a couple of weeks for the new intel CPUs on a new socket.

Thank you for reviewing my system. I've purchased all the parts from/through Amazon and the total after rebate came to $1,003.67. With the Antec case from Newegg $106.99 the grand total will come to $1,110.66. I'm very happy with that figure.

Again thanks!
