What company makes the best 6850 but not xfx

Was wondering who makes the best Ati 6850 . But not interested in the xfx there too pricey and hear they run too loud. Any ideas.

Most of the 6850's are following the reference design and will be about the same heat and noise level.

As for quiet. If Sapphire releases a vapor-x version, then it will be quiet. I have not seen one yet.

Gigabyte, Asus and Sapphire have there own cooling designs that should be quieter then stock.

There are not many reviews comparing this yet unfortunately. In the 5770 days, the sapphire one was about as quiet as they got with the vapor-x ones.

I agree XFX is too pricey, however I have heard that the overzealous fan has been fixed with a VGA BIOS update (from XFX support, of course).

Cool thanks ill probably waite for the vaporx or get the current Saphire version. The Asus one looks alright but not a fan of Asus in general.
