When I start up my computer, I am noticing that the fans all come on, it starts to boot and then shuts down for about 3-5 seconds. It will then boot up fine. I am wondering if this is something that I should be worried about.

i7 core
Asus P67LE motherboard
650W psu
8Gb ram
EVGA 570GTX gpu

Solution
Its either your front panel that is plugged in wrong(positive to negative and negative to positive) or its a quirk of the bord. My old 775 did too...

It wont be an issue though.

As this is a new build (friend built it for me), and it did not do this at first, I was worried that it was my MB going bad. But, if you believe that it is not worth stressing over, I can let it go. It just seems really weird that it started about 2 weeks ago, and this system is only about 3 months old.

On a side note, could the negative to positive issue be causing my mic jack to not be working? When I plug in a 3.5mm headset, I get sound, but the mic does not work. My usb headset works fine, but I really prefer headsets with 3.5mm jacks.

Thank you for your help!!
