Hello,

I just ordered that new rig for a friend but suddenly I really wonder if this Corsair TX650W will be enough to substain a core i5 2.8ghz (I will probably OC it a bit), GTX 460, and a single HDD.

THanks!

It will be plenty, its a good solid unit that can support two GTX 460s if needed.

I actually checked on a PSU calculator right after I posted this and yes it is def plenty. It is always good to get a confirmation though!

One qualifier. While the TX 650 should be enough, I note that the Corsair TX650 is NOT certified by Vidia for two 460's. The Corsair TX750 is as is the Antec TP650 and EA650. Whether this will be an issue w/ nVidia if there is a warranty claim, I can't say.
