Hello!

I recently began to wonder about how else I might go about cooling my Corsair 600T due to the front 200mm having a odd depth (200x200x20) and currently have little to no options when it comes to replacing it, perhaps this along with a different 120mm fan mounted on it plus my current 200mm intake fan might do the trick.

After I did a bit of searching I came across the before mentioned product. I began to wonder, could this replace one of the two removable hard drive cages?

Not very familiar with your case. My Antec Sonata III does not come with a removable HD cage. If you have space and a couple of mount points (anything from a rail to a hole) just get yourself a couple of small zip ties and mount a fan that way. The Corsair 600T isn't an 'open' case so you won't take a hit on visuals. I mounted a 120mm this way to the HD cage (granted it came with screw mounts but they don't fit a typical fan screw which confused me) and its solid and convenient.
