Presario V2000 Software Setup Question

Shortly after I got my V2000, I removed the Quick Launch Buttons
software. Yesterday, I found that I might like to use them so I used
Software Set Up from Start/All Programs to re-install the software. It
went fine.

However, I found I had forgotten to put the CD in the drive and to my
surprise Software Setup found what it needed to do the job so I figure
the information must be out on the HD somewhere.

Can someone tell me where it is?
