I just got it in the mail form newegg yesterday. I was going through all of the cables when I noticed something on a cable with 24 prongs. All of the little holes on it had little gold pieces in them except one. The one that didn't have one is located towards the middle. I don't know if that is bad because I don't know a lot about this stuff, but I thought I should ask.

More about : psu exchanged

That spot used to be used to provide -5V except nothing has used -5V power in almost a decade so that spot is now empty on the connector, its perfectly normal, if you got a unit that didnt have that spot empty i would be scared.

Well I just looked again and it is actually two pins away from the 4 pins that can be broken off. Technically that's not the center, but I am still going to assume that's the pin y'all are taking about.

Thanks!
