ASUS P7P55D AND I5 760 NO POST RED LED

Hi, I recently Built a new system using the asus p7p55d and the i5 760 processor and i have no post the computer starts along with all fans including cpu but there is no post and the red cpu light remains on i have plugged in the 8 pin psu and 24 pin psu for mobo but still nothing any ideas? thanks for your help btw i have 4GB Corsair XMS3 1600 mhz 2x2GB ram thanks for help .

I Know the chances of cpu and mobo DOA is very low but its still possible so should i return item---anyways any help much appreciated

Im pretty sure its a bios compatibility problem

I Might return all parts to ebuyer.co.uk and re-buy from local computer shops CCL-COMPUTERS quite a big pc shop actually so they can help me with any problems
