P8z68 Gen 3 Pro Board and RAM Question

Anyone have Gen 3 P8z68 motherboard and using Corsair RAM kits? Is there any issues with the XMS3 sticks? I was going to get the Vengence LP but they are sold out! Yes, the XMS3 sticks are on Corsairs approved/tested list.

The XMS3 works without a problem in my p67, and I have not seen any mention of a problem with Z68 mobos. No overheating issues or other problems to date (New build in 3/11).

z68 runs every ram manufacture without any a problem so yah you can run it.

Thanks Chesteracorgi and pro-gamer. I'm torn between the xms3/vengeance/ and the vengeance labeled for high performance gaming. They're all the same price and timings; 9-9-9-24 CAS: 9 (1600mhz).

If I recall Corsair's testing method correctly, they test for stability at rated speed, latency, and voltage. So there the real difference between Vengeance and XMS3 at the same speed & timings is the heatsink and marketing hype. The vengeance heatsinks may interfere with a large CPU cooler, so that's something else to consider.

I emailed Cooler Master (hyper 212 +) and they said there should be enough clearance but then again, that's why I was looking at the LP's but they're out of stock!
