Just wondering if there are any utilities like Ccleaner, auslogics boostspeed etc that are not recomended for use on them. Im a clean freak and before when i used platter disks i always defragged them, registry clean, ccleaner etc.

I know not to use the defrag on SSDs already but just wanted some peoples opinions on what utilities they use every week on the pc.

thanks.

Just check if, the TRIM command is enabled, that's the SSD defrag that keeps the SSD in the top shape

The Trim command should be enabled by default on Windows 7, but to be sure of that :

Type Command or paste prompt > fsutil behavior query disabledeletenotify
Hit Enter button.

DisableDeleteNotify = 1 (Windows TRIM commands are disabled)
DisableDeleteNotify = 0 (Windows TRIM commands are enabled)

0 is good : )
