I was working on putting together a computer for my father in law and didn't realize how cheap a blu-ray HTPC could be so I decided to build one for myself. I'm more in tune with higher end gaming PCs and components so I don't know much about the budget HTPC market.
The uses for this will be blueray/standard dvd playback, hulu and other streaming content, playing music, basic internet browsing. If any gaming is done on it will be older games such as Diablo I & II when my wife gets nostalgic. Any more complex tasks/games will be done on our gaming computer.
Components not needed: HD, input devices, OS(will use an old copy of XP)
I usually buy from newegg, but if Tiger or someone else has a better price or product I'll go somewhere else. I'm more familiar with AMD, but I have no problem with Intel.
CPU: AMD Athlon X2 245 Regor 2.9GHz
MOBO: Biostar TA880GB+ AM3 880G Combo with CPU $109.99

CASE: APEX DM-317-a $39.99

PSU: Included with case, this is a concern do I need to buy a better one?
Memory: Mushkin Enhanced 2GB DDR3 1333 $21.99

Optical: Lite-On 8x Blue Ray $63.99

Total $235.96 plus shipping
Other thoughts: I'm concerned about the case and PSU I know they are pretty cheap and I'm usually one of the people who is spouting off about getting a name brand PSU, but this is such a low power system thought it might be okay. If you recommend a different case it has to have front USB, front audio or anything else is not necessary. I don't know much about IGPs I always use discreet video cards, so will the IGP on the MOBO be good enough?
Any help is appreciated, especially if you can reduce the price and improve the quality.
