Hello,
I am looking for advice on an AMD Socket AM3 mobo without integrated video, without COM or LPT
ports. But with: 4x240pin ddr3, firewire, usb3.0 and min of 3 PCI slots
for now i would like to keep the cost below $150

I will be installing an AMD Phenom II X6 1090T 3.2GHz CPU into a Thermaltake M9 case with a ZEROtherm Nirvana NV120 PWM 120mm Long Life Bearing CPU Cooler

I am thankful for any help.

Here is an excellent board with all the goodies: http://www.amazon.com/ASRock-870-EXTREME3-R2-0-Motherboard/dp/tech-data/B005DXC8CC/ref=de_a_smtd. You'll notice that it only comes with 2 pci slots; pci is a dead interface; if you have three pci cards to reuse, pick one of them and throw it out. Find a replacement that uses pci-e. No board that I know of has 3 pci slots; the extra space is reserved for pci-e video slots for multiple video card support.

@o1die and @Wisecracker: Thanks for the quicks responses! I am a brand new member and yesterday was my first post. Both of you gave me spot on recommendations that addressed the feature specifications I am seeking in a mobo.
I can now decide between the choices i have been presented with.
I am not sure yet how to end a thread, but I feel that this one is a wrap.
Cheers!
