X79 ....is it worth upgrading now, or wait for Ivy Bridge?

Hey guys just wanted your opinions if its even worth upgrading now to X79?
Would it be better to wait till April for Ivy Bridge? the new Intel 3000/X79 series cpu's are quite expensive compared to the 2000/Z68, and from the reviews not that much faster.
What are your thoughts?

Depends on how rich you are and what you use your system for. I don't imagine you'll get your money back if you sell an x79 system, so I would wait for ivy bridge. Maybe someone else will sell the e series at a discount then and you can pick up a bargain.

Thanks for that , looks like Intel is just trying to stretch the life out of Sandy Bridge with the E series, will wait for Ivy , thanks for your advice.
