Performance wise they are basically tied, the GTX 470 leads a little in avg frames while minimum frames are higher by a pretty good margin on the 6870.

Price, the 6870 is $10 cheaper on Newegg.

Power Draw:

You have the 6870 being less than HALF of the GTX 470's power draw since that diagram is the whole system, and the graphics card doesn't take up a supermajority of the power draw unless you have CF/SLI.

I'll go with the 6870, and probably upgrade my motherboard so I can get another 6870 in the future.

What is the deal with upcoming gfx cards coming out? should I wait for a price drop?
