Heh, I made a similar topic earlier because I'm looking at the same two cards for my upcoming build. I think I'm leaning toward the 470. Hmmmm....

Performance wise they are basically tied, the GTX 470 leads a little in avg frames while minimum frames are higher by a pretty good margin on the 6870.

Price, the 6870 is $10 cheaper on Newegg.

Power Draw:

You have the 6870 being less than HALF of the GTX 470's power draw since that diagram is the whole system, and the graphics card doesn't take up a supermajority of the power draw unless you have CF/SLI.

You have the 6870 being a solid 15 C less.

The 6870 is quieter by a decent amount.

So:
Performance - Same
Price - 6870
Temp - 6870
Power Draw - 6870
Noise - 6870

Features wise they both are loaded.

I'll go with the 6870, and probably upgrade my motherboard so I can get another 6870 in the future.

What is the deal with upcoming gfx cards coming out? should I wait for a price drop?
