I been under the notion that the mobo type of ram doesn't affect the graphics card but I'm really a novice when it comes to graphics card, so I was wondering, if this video card would be compatible with my motherboard. Thanks

Would this video card

XFX GT240XZHFC GeForce GT 240 1GB 128-bit DDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

be compatible with my motherboard

GIGABYTE GA-MA785GM-US2H AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

oh, I brought the motherboard like 1-2 weeks ago, but I haven't brought the video card yet. I thought the video card might've been a good deal just because it had a $40 rebate + $15 promo, but I wasn't quite sure & I dislike rebates lol. I actually don't need micro atx, but I brought it because it was part of a deal at the time.

My monitor resolution setting right now is 1440 x 990 resolution (19inch widescreen monitor) with a Topower EP-500PMX 500W High Quality ATX12V V2.0 PSU. I haven't been gaming that much lately, but I'm looking to play video games for times when I do want to.
