My 8800gt burned out the other day and I'm thinking of replacing it with the HD5770 (http://www.aria.co.uk/Products...)

But my motherboard has no on board graphics so I cant boot it up to remove all the NVIDIA drivers, would it be safe to install this card then remove the drivers or is there another option?

Thanks :)

Also sorry if this is the wrong section

yea what you can do is install the new car and then boot up the pc and uninstall the old ones before you install the new ones.......make sure you remove the drivers manually then run a program like driver sweeper to ensure that the drivers are completely removed and then reboot and then you can install the new ones. good luck
