GPU upgrade?

I just want to know if it would be a good move to replace my HD4350 with a HIS Radeon HD 5770.
the rest of my system is:

Mobo: MSI G31TM-P21 LGA 775
CPU : Intel Pentium E6700 Wolfdale 3.2GHz ~ soon to be OC'd
PSU : Rosewill Stallion Series 500W
Mem : 4gigs of OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400

I mainly use this system for gaming, but i think my current GPU is holding me way back. I'm not looking for crazy fps, but somewhere around 40+.

I'm afraid your PSU can't handle it. I've read that HD 5770 requires a minimum 450w of power.

The PSU recommendations are for typical complete systems, not merely for the GPU itself; even so, better to have 150 watts to spare than instead hoping your PSU works at 90% of it's rated capacity....

ok so how about this PSU: Rosewill Green Series RG630-S12 630W Continuous @40°C,80 PLUS Certified, and a GeForce GTS 450 (Fermi) ? does that sound better? or still go with the 5770?
