Blinking blue light on a gateway E4610 pc

Hello,
When I try to start the pc, the fan starts for a second, stops and then the power light just blinks and nothing further happens.

It is possible that the CPU is not getting a signal to start up because the PSU has gone bad.
Can you remove the PSU? It is really easy, it is just a matter of disconnecting the cables. Go to your local Best Buy and get one of the same physical size and put the cables in the only place they will fit.
