Hello,

I have a Compaq Presario S5100NX 2.6Ghz Processor 2GB Ram and a 250 watt /14 A Power Supply.

It is EX - Treeeeemely Slow when it comes to trying to Attempt ADOBE Premiere and others.
I am However, able to Run Adobe Premiere 6.0 -Illustrator and Photoshop on an OK to Poor scale.

I am in search of a VIDEO/ Graphics card that is Compatible with my setup.

I will eventually get my 3.6Ghz Quad Core i7 Later.

I was Suggested a GForce 9400 But later found out the Power Supply requirements.
My Computer has 250 Watts and 14 Amps
Recommended is 300 Watts and 18 Amps

Can this request be achieved? Or am I asking to much of an old Beast?

Please keep me posted.
Thank you.

You need to be willing to make a compromise... in order to get better hardware in your rig, the stock PSU simply won't do.

And I hope you're not intending to put a Core i7 into that PARTICULAR computer... Assuming this is it, it is literally impossible, as the sockets are different.

In fact, that rig is downright ancient... consider getting a new build altogether, because there's pretty much nothing on that computer worth saving in the present day.
