Can anyone tell me if I can run WoW Cataclysm with this card: XFX Geforce 9400GT PCI-E 2.0 512MB DDR Video Card with DVI and TV Output ? I am looking to buy a new video card, because my old one isn't going to cut it. I have to go cheap! So I was looking at this one: XFX Geforce 9400GT PCI-E 2.0 512MB DDR Video Card with DVI and TV Output on Wal-Mart.com. Will it do? I not that savvy when it comes to the inner workings of comps. I know the minimum requirement for Cataclysm video memory is 64MB and the recommended is 256 MB, so will the one I am looking at work? Please let me know! I am wanting to purchase and install before Cataclysm release, hopefully by Dec 5th.

Thanks,

Worser than 9400gt.what is your budget?
He doesn't know much about computers and the hardware for them, so a 9400gt will probably be better then anything he's had before. Of course, now he might have a shitty PC to begin with, which can't work properly or will allow a 9400gt to be fitted. For all we know, he should have a 4650/5670, which won't be at a Wallmart. Hell, I didn't know wallmart even sold video cards.

Ok let me tell you what the game calls for.

Minimum: nVidia GeForce FX 5500 / ATI Radeon 9500 with 64MB video memory

Recommended: nVidia GeForce 8600 / ATI Radeon HD 2600 with 256 MB video memory

I want something a little better than minimum, but I know I probably couldn't afford the recommended. Preferably under $70.

How about this one Jaton Nvidia GeForce 6200 256MB PCI DDR2 Video Card ?

^ Under 50$ and will be fast if not equal to a 9400gt.

^ Under 70$ and will be faster then a 9400gt, matches Nvidia's higher mid end cards(Of the 9000 series.)

Hopefully you can figure this out, but does the computer have a dual core or single core cpu? Also, does the pc have at least 300watts or better for the psu?
