I have an MSI Radeon HD 6870 card and for some reason, there is no video output while in my DFI LanParty UT 790FX board. If I put it in any other system setup it works flawlessly.
Watching the motherboard's LED boot codes, it cycles through the normal set of numbers and ends on "FF" as it usually does, but no bootup, and no video.
It is not a PSU issue, as I am able to run my dual 4850 setup with no issues, and I am running the latest BIOS on the board itself. I know DFI has abandoned their LanParty lineup and has no recent updates, so I'm wondering if this is the cause. I have even tried using the supplied molex -> 6-pin PCIe power adapters to make sure it wasn't something in the PCIe power lines.
I sent DFI an email but I haven't received a response yet, so any input would be greatly appreciated.
SETUP:
AMD 64 6400+ X2
DFI LanParty UT 790FX-M2R
2 x 2GB DDR2 OCZ Reaper HPC
Mushkin Enhanced 550300 800W PSU
