Hi everyone, I am looking for some advice regarding my new and first build. Here are the specs...

1tb HDD WD

60gb ssd OZC

i5 760 quad core 2.80Ghz intel processor

MSI N570 GTX w/1280mb gddr5 directX 11 video card

MSI p55a-GD55 gaming series motherboard

Vantage liquid cooling

4gb Gskill ddr3 ram

Antec 900 advance gaming case,

I hope thats right...

My problem is that I would like to set up a raid0 config but when I do I get a 111.8gb raid 0 sized drive. I dont know what to do to change this, if anything. To set up a raid 0 am I going to need 2 of each of my selected drives? (2 ssd'd & 2 hdd's) or is there a way to do it with what I have?

Please let me know what to do as I am totally new to DIY PC builds, in the past I have gone somewhat foolproof with console gaming but want to seriously improve my gaming experience.........

thanks in advance

There were the odd integrated RAID controllers that allowed mixing of SATA and IDE drives in a RAID, but, I'm not aware of any that will allow mixing of SSD and SATA drives in a RAID O.

With a single quality SSD for system, which is plenty plenty fast anyway, I'd skip the RAID altogether anyway.
