Approximate Purchase Date: This weekend

Budget Range: (e.g.: 600-800) Under $500 before rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important: (e.g.: gaming;COD MW, Civilization 5, Bad Co), MS Office, Web/email

Parts Not Required: (e.g.: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, HD, I have an Nvidia 8500GT video card as well)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: (e.g.: newegg.com)

Country of Origin: (USA)

Parts Preferences: by brand or type (e.g.: AMD CPU)

Overclocking: Maybe (I would like to but this is my first so I will wait for this)

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe (I would like to but I am willing to wait)

Monitor Resolution: (1920x1200)

Additional Comments: (I am open to adding a solid video card with this system. I am not sure how effective the 8500 GT will be to start with)

Thanks!

Get a cheap case ($35), 2gig of cheap DDR3 ram ($25), cheapish PSU (about 450-500W at $55) and spend the rest on a Sandy Bridge i5 2500k ($260) and a 1155 mobo P67 ($125). Use the Intel stock cooler to overclock. Use your 8500GT for now. Bob's your uncle. All estimates of course.
