Hey guys,
I am trying to decide on motherboards. I am planning on getting the i7 2600k and i am deciding between the Asus Sabertooth p67 or AsRock Extreme4. I would love to get a Maximus but just don't see spending 350$ on a motherboard. Witch one would you choose or what else would you recommend. I plan on OCing and chances are i wont get Crossfire or SLI.

You can get a i5-2500k for $100 less and put that money towards a motherboard. The 2500 will overclock just the same as the 2600 and the only difference between the two is that the 2600 has hyperthreading which does not help at all in gaming , as a matter of fact I have the 980x which is a six core cpu with hyperthreading and I have that feature diabled because it does not help me in gaming. I would give this motherboard a look and see if it fits with what you need and want , it does have a lot of features and available pci-e slots among other things.

ASRock Z68 Extreme7 Gen3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard $269.99
