Just Cause 2 artifacting/ pixel corruption

So i have a 5850 and i've been playing JC2 for quite awhile, good penformance good graphics but there are always this artifact looking things that aren't noticeable most of the time and only appear at a distance, but they can be quite annoying when you see them :

It's the only game where that happens, all other games and benchmarks including furmark run seamlessly without any artifacts. The card is at stock settings and it rarely reach 60c.


Has anyone else experienced this? is there a workaround for it? are those really artifacts?
