Hey guys, longtime lurker, first time poster.....

First, I apologize if this isn't in the right forum, but I've got a little problem. I just built a PC and I'm not able to get a signal to my monitor. Here's my specs:

Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H Motherboard
AMD Athlon II X4 630 Quad Core Processor
GIGABYTE ATI Radeon 5770 1 GB video card
G.SKILL 4 GB (2x2GB) RAM
Samsung 1TB hard drive
Ultra 750w power supply
Acer 20" widescreen monitor.

I've tried connecting the DVI on the monitor to the three possible DVI slots (1 on mobo, 2 on video card) and I get no signal. When I disconnect, the monitor tells me that the cable isn't connected, so it does at least recognize a connection.

I've tried using the HDMI port to connect to my HDTV and it tells me no signal too.

I've tried resetting the RAM, resetting the video card, clearing CMOS, clearing the capaciters by holding down the power button for 30 seconds.....nothing.

Any ideas? I'm wondering if the RAM isn't compatible with the board and that might be causing the issues. If it's a driver issue, well, it's kinda hard to determine that if I can't get any visual display!

Thanks you so much for your help.
