Hello,this should be an easy one.
I have a win2k server and xp clients. i have a local domain that clients neet to access and also need access to the internet.
the domain can be static or dynamic ip.. i thought we used to just run multiple tcp stacks but that doesnt seeem to be working.i'm probably just missing something obvious.. can someone re-educate me on this?

You either need a router or run ICS on the server.

Set up DHCP on your server with a scope. On server options configure your DNS settings to point to either a locally hosted DNS you have set up or to your ISP's DNS servers. You would be better off configuring DNS locally and using that to resolve local addresses and forward to the internet. Or you can use WINS locally which is easy to configure and your ISP's DNS servers.
