Hey Everyone, I'm building my first budget Gaming Rig, I'm not a pro but i know some stuff and i would really like for you to send me some advice/feedback on what you think of my hardware. I'm going for a budget of ~$1500, just a rig that will play some good games like COD:Black Ops, WoW, Diablo III, Crysis, ect.So far the hardware i found adds up to about $1080, so like i said send me some advice on what to swap for better parts, what not to get, that kinda stuff.

Case: Thermaltake V5Black Edition Mid-Tower(Not really sure about this one so help me out)
MoBo: EVGA 123-LF-E653
Ram: Corsair Dominator 4GB:2 X 2GB 240-Pin
PCU: Corsair CMPSU-750TX 750W
GPU: Radeon HD 6870 w/ Eyefinity
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1.5 TB 7200 RPM
Optical Drive: Samsung DVD Burner w/ lightscribe
CPU: Intel i7-920 2.66GHz 130W Quad-Core
CPU Cooler: Thermaltake Spin Q Performance Series

Case - I'd opt for the Antec Illusion to match the case price or spend a bit more for an HAF-922

MoBo - You're trying to put an 1366 CPU in an 1156 MoBo. I'll assume you want to stick with the 1156 given your memory choice. In that case, 1156 just sunsetted, the new boy on the block is the 1155 chipset. Suggest the Asus Sabertooth P67 as soon a sit hits the streets.

RAM - CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (4 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMX8GX3M4A1600C9

GFX read the comparison and decide

This is my currently recommended sub $1500 build .... if ya don't need Mouse / KB, get the 2nd GFX card....if ya don't need monitor, get a 2nd set of RAM for 8 GB or consider that SSD

Case - $90 - Coolermaster HAF-922
Case Fans - Later - CM Red 200 mm
PSU - $110 - XFX Black Edition 850
MoBo - $170 - Asus Sabertooth P67
CPU - $210 - Intel i5-2550k
Cooler - $40 - Scythe SCMG 2100
TIM - $5 - Shin Etsu
RAM - $70 - 2 x 2GB Mushkin CAS 7
GFX - $230 - Asus GTX 470
GFX - Later - Same
HD - $55 - Seagate 7200.12 1TB or Spinpoint F3
SSD - Later - OCZ Vertex 2 3.5" 120GB
DVD Writer - $19 - ASUS 24X DVD Writer
OS - $100 - Win 7-64 Home OEM
Monitor - $180 - ASUS VH242H1920x1080
Keyboard - $67 - Logitech G110
Mouse - $45 - Logitech MX-518

Total $1391
