I just put together my rig and was going to begin overclocking and my stock temps if I'm reading these correctly are through the roof even at idle.

Not sure if my temperature sensor is bad or what, all I know is that these shouldn't be that high at idle. Any thoughts? Stock cooler on Arctic Silver 5.

Is the cooler securely attached to the CPU? If it isn't making solid contact then that would cause your temps to be high.

See if you can stably lower the voltages, and like jprahman said make sure you CPU is attached correctly. What kinda of case are you using?

Yep, first of all go in the BIOS and lower the CPU voltage to 1.25V. Check again the temperatures, but you may have to reseat the CPU and change the thermal paste.

Scout coolermaster, I'll go lower the CPU voltage and recheck it I did re-seat the cpu before I made the post.

Quick update, I lowered the voltage and it decreased a significant amount from 68 to 54, still running hot i'll experiment around and see if I can get it lower, thanks.
