USB Doesn't recognize device

Hi Friends,

I am using Dell Vostro410 with XP operating system. My system has 4 USB supporting ports in front panel. But among 4 only 1 port is detecting the USB devices.

Can anybody help me on how to make it all ports working.

Go to device manager and make sure they are not disabled. Restart computer and go to bios and make sure they are not disabled. Open the case and check the wiring. If wired up correctly, use multimeter to check if current run through the port (the power are the 1st and last contact). The correct reading should be about 5v. If not then it is faulty hardware.
