D is a 2nd partition of the main boot drive?

See if the partition shows in Admin Tools/Comp Mngmt/Storage

The Windows 7 CD includes a repair function for corrupted partitions - if you are running Win7.

If you cant restore that partition the data is lost.

There is software that can help recover lost data. Before you go and recreate the partition, or load anything else that may overwrite those sectors, try using Easeus and Recuva.

Thank you for the information very much. I went to the easeus.com and found a free version. I just tried the free version and got my most important data back without much effort. Wow,it's really a perfect tool. However, the free version has a limit, it only can recover 1GB data, so i chose the most important ones.
Well ,i also feel very excited and grateful. With no money, solving my problems. :bounce:
Thank you again.
