I kept getting an error message every 30 minutes or so on my ASUS P8Z68-V saying my speakers where unplugged. I uninstalled the audio drivers and re-installed and still had the problem. I decided to update the BIOS on my P8Z68-V to the latest version 0902. After the update, the system starts to boot the I get the BSOD. I have cleared the CMOS and still no go . I have been trying to revert to an older version of the BIOS using the EZ Flash utility but it keep saying the version is older than the one installed and will not install. The same thing happens in DOS with bupdater.exe. How can I get an older version of the BIOS to install?

Well, I have no ideas for you, but you are not alone, I thought it was my Cyborg Keyboard doing it as I use the pass through jacks on it. I'm referring to the Audio issue, not the BSOD.

I will dig around some more and see if I can find anything on downgrading your bios.
