I am also purchasing a Radeon HD 5770 for my friend's birthday to replaces his ATI Radeon™ HD 3000.
Here is his current spec.
Motherboard: FOXCONN 2AA9
Ram: 5GB DDR3
CPU: AMD Athlon X2 250 @ 3.0GHz
GPU: ATI Radeon™ HD 3000
Power SUPPLY: 300W
Here, i have a few questions.
Would this Radeon HD 5770 be compatible with this spec. (other than Power Supply)
What Power supply(@ What watt) would you recommend me with this spec with everything unchanged other than the GPU.

AMD specifications suggest a 450 watt+ power supply.

For single HD5770, you can use 450W PSU with good quality, like Corsair, Antec, Seasonic, OCZ, SilverStone...
They're "expensive", but you get a high-end quality PSU.
