OK. I am going to be playing Star Wars: The Old Republic next weekend but my system is a little underpowered right now to run it on max settings with no lag. I want to fix it.

Here is my specs including Motherboard:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 3.00GHZ @ 3
ABIT IP35 Pro Off Limits Motherboard
Radeon 4870 HD
2 GB Ram

Now, I'm saving for a new system over the next few months so I'm not going bonkers with upgrades, this system is simply too old and I'm better off saving for a new one. But since RAM is fairly cheap I feel I can get a decent upgrade going to 4GB.

Problem is with this motherboard I'm using DDR2, right?

Any ideas what type of RAM and where I should get it? I want decent memory but I don't want to pay a lot of money.

I would check craigslist for some used ram. I've seen 2 gb kits for around $20, and frys had some 4 gb ddr2 kits for less than $30 a few days ago after rebate.
