Crossfire or single card ?

Im trying to decide on what to get either 2 4850 or 1 5850 both hd ati. just don't no please tell me if you no any thing about cross fire.

Go with single HD5850, it's more future proof, and you can add another one later...
Single card gives you less problem than dual cards.

Just to ask. Have you considered the newer 6 series cards ? price/performance is quite favourable, guess that depends where you are in the world though.

+1, go with 5850, afterwards when you might want even more performance, you can add another 5850.
Plus, it has eyefinity, and better power consumption, works cooler-

The HD4850 is old and shouldn't be on your list at all. Get the HD5850 as everyone mentioned.
