Driver Question

Hello,
I am currently running an 8800GT on my machine. I am expecting a 470 to be delivered today. I will be using my 8800 as a Physx card. Before installing the new 470, should I go into Safe Mode and remove the 8800 drivers with a utility and just reinstall from scratch after the hardware installs or, can I just leave the drivers as is since I will need them anyway?

Uninstall the old drivers in normal mode and then reboot and let windows install it's default driver, then shut down and install the new card then download and intal the latest drivers from the Nvidia website (260.99), choose the fresh install if you are given the option then reboot and you should be good to go.

Install the latest nvidia drivers now. There shouldn't be a compatibility issue once you add the GTX 470 in and switch the 8800GT to a dedicated Physx card.

I've had a few instances where the drivers needed to be reinstalled even though I was swapping one Nvidia card for another.
