Printer wont install, yellow question mark

What's your printer model ? did you install the drivers for it ?

You're printer should've come with a disk with drivers. Windows update will give you an (optional) hardware driver update. Or you can go to the printer manufaturer's website and get drivers. Any of these three will solve your problem Luck.

Okay here is what worked and I tried a bunch of things. I went to HP and downloaded the drivers right from the site and it worked. My disk for some unknown reason would not load the drivers. thank you for your input.

I had a disk but it would not load the drivers. I wound up going to hp.com and loaded a driver from there and it worked. Thanks for the help
