NZXT Lexa-S

It says:
  • 3 DRIVE BAYS --> HD drive bays, optical disk drive bays, ...???
  • 4 EXTERNAL 5.25" DRIVE BAYS
  • 7 INTERNAL 3.5" DRIVE BAYS

What are the differences between the external and internal drive bays?

external bays are accessible from the outside (usually used by CD/DVD drives)

internal bays are inside the case (usually used by hard drives)

You can slide a drive into the PC with an external bay, but you still need to open the PC to connect the cables.

Internal bays requires you to open the case to insert the drive and connect the cables.
