Laptops with dedicated graphics 2010-suitable for CAD

I am seeking advice re purchase of laptop suitable for Mechanical Engineering student using CAD and engineering drawings etc

If you got the budget, then I recommend the Lenovo ThinkPad W510 series which starts at $1,300 and simply shoots up from there. Note that is the current discounted sale price.

I have person experience with ThinkPads. I bought my IBM ThinkPad back in 2002 and I am still using it. It's rock solid. Of course it cost me an arm and a leg at $2,200+.
