2500K and compatible MB will eat $400 easily from budget....

I'd try hard to slip a single GTX 570 in the rig initially, even if you must save another month to fund it.....(the 570 is plenty fast for 1080p res in all current gaming titles with even a single card....)

You will want a 750-800 watt PSU so at least the option of adding a 2nd GTX570 later is possible....; might discover one is enough for 2 years.

I dont want a gtx 570... I heard you can bios flash an hd 6950 into an hd 6970 so il get an hd 6950.... i dont need a case its just the components so what PSU,RAM, hdd would you suggest?

(im only planning to add a second graphics card later on and I heard crossfire scales better than SLI at the moment)
