So did 6850 jump up in price?

So I ordered a Gigabyte 6850 at a website for 175 bucks; however, the website just informed me they don't have it in stock anymore. Now I'm tryin to find another 6850, but it seems like the card price is now in the 190-200 range. The price for Asus 6850 are all 210+ now. WTf happened?! Are these cards still worth the price? http://www.google.com/search?q=radeon+6850&tbs=shop%3A1&aq=f#sclient=psy&hl=en&safe=off&tbs=shop:1&source=hp&q=Asus+EAH6850&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&pbx=1&fp=2289185d5cea093

More about 6850 jump price
  1. The cards are new and selling happened with the HD5xxx cards too. $180 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161348
  2. I'm Looking at tigerdirect.com and the asus is 209 while the xfx is 189. What's most important to me is longevity of the card. Is paying the extra money for a better manufacturer worth it? Or should I just go with the HIS brand? or even the xfx brand?
  3. XFX is just as good as Asus and HIS is not far behind.
  4. How would you rank Sapphire compared to those brands?
  5. Sapphire pretty good as well. The simple fact is that all Radeon cards are manufactured by a few OEMs who then slaps on the brand name stickers and ships them out to their customers. The major difference has to do with the warranty offered, custom heatsinks and customer support quality.

In fact, Sapphire is a sub-division of PC Partners an OEM manufacturer.
