CMOS Problem Tags: CPUs BIOS Computers CMOS Last response: April 3, 2011 3:03 AM in CPUs Share azurin April 2, 2011 11:02:53 PM Hello, I turned on my computer today and instead of loading everything like usual, it gets stuck where you can press delete to access BIOS. It only shows these lines: CMOS Settings Wrong CMOS Date/Time Not Set Press F1 to Run SETUP Press F2 to load default values and continue. What should I do? F2? F1 gets me to BIOS, but I don't know what to do there. Is F2 a safe thing to do ? Thank you for answering me! If this topic is in the wrong category, you can just redirect it, thank you. EDIT: oh if you use F2 your time in windows will be wrong as it uses the bios time, that can cause errors with HTTPS on the net. other then that no big. azurin April 3, 2011 2:28:28 AM I configured the date in the bios by pressing F1, and I have access to my computer now. Many thanks to you fatsoferret, this really helped me! Have a nice day! Can't find your answer ? Ask ! Get the answer fatsoferret April 3, 2011 3:03:29 AM np Can't find your answer ? Ask !
