Hello,

My girlfriends PC is a 10 y/o Dell with 256mb and I want to smash it every time I am there! (which is a lot :) )

Where's the best site to buy an off-lease computer in the $100-200 range?

Thanks

For refurbs you can check out www.cedarpc.com so far I am very happy with the box I got from them. Otherwise I would check out e-bay or any of the other reputable online computer sellers. You can get some nice off lease and refurb computers from www.trigerdirect.com or www.newegg.com as well. What site to go to really depends on what you are looking for and how much you want to spend.

what I'm looking at seems to show that the $100-200 range are still Pentium 4s with 256-512 MB of RAM and 80 GB Hard drives.

I'd check out www.cedarpc.com than they have some older off lease and refurb ones that are probably right in your range.
