ok, after many views of post and questions answerd I think I have down what I want/need, am looking for any input, specially on RAM as I am not good at telling what is what...

parts so far:

asus p8p67 pro
i5 2500k
GTX 570SC-EVGA
XFX Black Edition XPS-850W-BES 850W
OCZ Vertex 2 OCZSSD2-2VTXE120G 2.5" 120GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
OCZ Platinum 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model OCZ3P1600C6LV4GK
win 7 home 64

currently I have a ODD to reuse and 2 250 WD HDDs for data...any input or ideas would be appreciated...

^ Nice selection of parts, but not too comfortable suggesting OCZ RAM as previously I have seen many people complaining about stability issues with them, but not sure how they are now... though for that price they have very good specs, so its upto you,...
