Device prpblem

Hello,
i just installed a new hp printer to my computer. i am using xp with kaspersky
firewall.

my vso devices is showing a corrupted pcouffin device.

below is the message when i right click.

>Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.

+1 to mosox. Also, be sure to follow the instructions for installing the driver. Many USB printers need to be disconnected, until the installation program prompts you to connect the printer at the time it needs it. This helps in the proper detection of the printer itself.
