@ Why_Me: I'm gonna assume that theres no reason the COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 shouldn't work with the new 1155 boards as well yea?

And I was looking at either that Cooler Master HAF 912 case or the Rosewill Challenger Black Case ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147153 )

Probably go with the HAF 912.

@mdd1963. I see with the rebate and all its only like $30 more dollars for the 5870. But sliding in just under $800 pretty much perfectly fit my budget. That extra couple frames isn't that much of a big deal to me either. After play on laptops for years on low/medium, I wont be able to tell.

But I'm putting in the order in the next hour or so! Just excited to finally move away from my laptop. haha

EDIT - I missed that combo. But could you buy the other parts from the bundle (mobo - ram - hdd) that saves $100 (80 instant + $20 mail) for less than the $50 (30 instant + 20 mail-in) of the GPU combo??

Brainstorm: Aka for less than $50 bucks cheaper? I think theres a $130 mobo so thats +$10...a $50 ram so thats +$15... think the next hdd was only +$5 less. so thats +$30.

I think it works out to be cheaper still with the bundle.

Be aware that the Reaper memory is extremely tall and probably won't work in the first slot with an aftermarket cooler. I had to put mine in slots 2 and 4. If I want to add 2 more sticks, I'll need to grab some really low profile RAM or take the heat spreaders off.

Also, I bought 4GB of 1600MHz Reaper memory and mine won't run at 8-8-8-24 even at 1566. the best I can do so far is 7-8-9-23 but I am still testing. that 9 isn't going away though. After a couple days of testing and tweaking I determined that is the timing that doesn't work at 8.
