My PSU Exploded

I just built a new system when I was playing a game I heard some pop voices from the case and something exploded like a flashbang. I immediately unbplugged the power cable and opened the case. There was a burning smell and my PSU burnt. I tried the other components with a different PSU and my Mobo and DVD-ROM died. Which parts can be also burnt (CPU,video card etc.) ?
Note: I returned my motherboard today and waiting for replacement.

Its too bad but it does happen. There is a lot of power running through those things.

You will have to test everything - one at a time to understand what has failed.

Worst case , MOBO,GPU,MEM,CPU and everything else connected to PSU, Sorry, have seen it before. You will only know as you test each component!

It was High Power Rock Solid 1200W, it was working pretty good for a month, I opened it and found some screws of the radiator fans in it . It was the installer's fault, I will try get my money from him.

Good news: All of my other components work
Bad News: I have to wait 20 days for motherboard and PSU cost me 250 USD.

My old PSU was loudy, which PSU should I buy now ?

2 gtx 580s is a lot of power and if your going to over clock.
Never hurts to leave yourself some headroom if you have the funds.
