Phenom 955 power and stepping ?s

have a PhenomII 955BE and wondering about C2/C3 voltage deal. model # HDZ955FBGIBOX, read a few places this is the C2 140w version. on my previous board (AsRock A780GXE/128M AM2+ DDR2) it loaded default at 1.25v and I had it running @ 3.6GHz with 1.35v with no problems. on new board (AsRock 770DE AM3 DDR3) it loads default 1.3v and @ 3.6GHz it needs at least 1.4v. i'm wondering if this thing just runs very well undervolted or if it really is the C3 125w version.

edit: AMD site and CPUID confirm C3 version. so what's the difference between the HDZ955FBGIBOX and the HDZ955FBGMBOX? i knew mine was a 125w but reading crap about the ...IBOX version being the old 140w kinda worried me.
